From Madrid -Atocha train station- to Alicante: many trains daily. It takes about 3 hours 30 minutes.
From Barcelona -Sants train station; address Pl. Països Catalans, s/n- to Alicante: many trains daily. It takes about 4 h 30 min.
Alicante train station is located in the center of the city - Avenida de Salamanca, 1. (5 –7 minutes on foot from Zador Spanish language school).
Coastal train connections from Alicante to Benidorm or Denia
FGV Alicante train station is at the end of the Postiguet Beach.
You can use this train to go to other cities and villages in Alicante province: there are train to Benidorm, Denia.

Taxi from Alicante airport - Taxi rank is outside the terminal building. Taxis work on a queue system so choose the taxi at the front of the queue. Taxis are white and of a very high standard. The approximate fare to Alicante is about € 25.
If you take a taxi at your arrival, you can practise your Spanish by talking to a taxi driver (Usually taxi drivers are very helpful).
If you take a taxi to go to Zador Spanish Language School, remember the Alicante Spanish school is at 14, AVENIDA DE LA CONSTITUCIÓN, near the corner of the Alfonso X el Sabio Street, between the Central Marketplace (number 35) and the city’s Principal Theatre (number 13).
You can take the taxi to the Central Market (Mercado Central), stop there and just cross Alfonso el Sabio street to take Avenida de la Constitución.
